Praised for her "incredible stage presence" (San Jose Mercury News) and "Powerful voice" (Argus Courier), Kelly Britt is "a rising star and one whose career should be carefully watched" (Richard Riccardi). 

Britt has performed professionally since 2011, performing roles such as Donna Anna (with Cinnabar Opera as well as the 2014 Mendocino Music Festival), Micaëla (Cinnabar Opera, under the baton of Mary Chun), First Lady (Pocket Opera), Sofia in Rossini's Il Signor Bruschino (Mendocino Music Festival, conducted by Allan Pollack), Maria in The Sound of Music (Contra Costa Musical Theatre), Maria in West Side Story (Contra Costa Civic Theatre), Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls (Broadway By the Bay), Lizzie in 110 in the Shade (Cinnabar Theatre), and Betty Haynes in Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Diablo Theatre Company).

Kelly's talent and passion for theatrics has earned her a nomination for two Bay Area "Shellie Awards" for her portrayal of Maria in Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music and her performance of Marian Paroo in Meredith Wilson's The Music Man. She also received a Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle nomination for her performance as Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, and two "BroadwayWorld.com" (San Francisco) nominations for her performances as Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni and as Lizzie in 110 in the Shade.

Kelly earned her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she studied with her current teacher Jane Randolph and performed the roles of Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare, Gretel in Hänsel and Gretel, and Oberto in Alcina, with partial roles as Cunegonde in Candide, Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier, and Thérèse in Les mamelles de Tirésias. She also received three "Outstanding Achievement Awards" from the Opera, Voice, and Musical Theatre departments. Her Bachelor of Music degree is from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts, where she studied under the tutelage of countertenor Mark Crayton.

Kelly Britt hails from Hartland, WI and currently resides in Chicago, IL.
